Case status refers to the stage of the Impasse Buster process that the case is in.
Invitation Pending means that an invitation to participate in the Impasse Buster process is awaiting a response.
Mediation Agreement means that the parties, through their lead representatives, are working with the Mediator on the Mediation Agreement that will address the non-monetary terms that will apply in the event of settlement and the bidding details that will apply to the Impasse Buster process.
Bidding in Progress means that the parties, through their lead representatives, are in the bidding phase of the process and a result has not yet been obtained. As soon as the Mediator receives a Bid that is equal to or less than the Authority, the Mediator announces the settlement to both sides. If none of Plaintiff’s Bids are equal to or less than the Authority, the Mediator announces the result of impasse to both sides.
